Wendy Shay of Ruff Town Records fame has become the talk of Ghana among social media users following her choice of wig. According to them, they can’t fathom why Wendy Shay should put on the same wig for 3 months continuous.
The trolls have pushed the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker to respond accordingly. To Wendy, there’s no iota of truth or whatsoever in the rumours circulating on social media concerning her hairstyle.
So, reacting to one of the trolls on Instagram, Wendy pointed out that as a professional nurse, she knows the importance of personal hygiene and thus changes her hair every week but prefers the same style because it’s her signature look.
Contrary to what many are saying, Wendy, explained that her hair was not a weave on but crochet braid. Wendy in a later interview on TV Africa further listed three reasons why she does not change her hairstyle.
According to her, she likes to be flexible and always want to reveal her face and that particular crochet braid also gives her the chance to style it anyhow she wants.
“I actually like the colour black. And I like wearing that because it brings my face shape and because I can actually switch it whichever way I want. I like to be flexible that’s why I like this braids,” Wendy said.
