Former Ghana international Charles Taylor has demanded a refund of his dues paid to the Professional Footballers Association Ghana (PFAG) after being removed from the association’s WhatsApp group.

Taylor, who won six Ghana Premier League titles while playing for Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, claims that he was axed from the group after criticising players.

In an interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah on YouTube, Taylor vented his frustration with Baffoe and the PFAG. “Right now, I’m not in the group. Why did he tell [Sports Journalist Saddick Adams] Obama to talk to me? And because Obama didn’t he has removed me from the group,” he said.

Taylor further demanded all the monetary contributions he has paid to the PFAG, citing that he would need the money to pay for the dues of his most cherished groups; Asante Kotoko Legends and Hearts of Oak Legends.

“What pains me is that I paid every due and now that I’m not on the page if I need help no one will come to my aid because I’m not part of the group, so I need my money back,” he stated.

The former player is known for his outspoken nature, often voicing his concerns over issues within the footballing world.
