Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has commenced training with West Ham United after joining the club from Ajax this week.
Kudus displayed great energy and enthusiasm during his first training session on Wednesday, positioning himself as a potential participant in the upcoming match against Luton Town on Friday.
Manager David Moyes now has the opportunity to consider including Kudus in the lineup for the Premier League fixture.
The 23-year-old midfielder signed a five-year contract after West Ham paid 43 million euros to the Dutch giants.
Kudus who wrapped up an incredible career with Ajax with a brilliant hattrick on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League expressed his excitement to join the Europa Conference League champions pledging his commitment to the London-based club.
I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” Kudus said in his first interview with West Ham.
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going.
“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.”
