Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton says optimism is growing around the team following the performance in the last two games.
Ghana faced Central African Republic and Liberia in the last two games with both taking place in Kumasi and Accra respectively.
The four-time African champions claimed two victories from the games, breathing a sigh of relief for Hughton, who came under immense criticism after his first three games in charge of the team.
However, the Irish trainer says he is starting to get excited after the performances in the games against CAR and Liberia.
“I have seen enough in the two games to always give me confidence. There are still things we could have done better. In the first half, we gave the ball away,” he said after the game against Liberia.
“The pitch was difficult with obviously the rain but I thought we gave the ball away too easily at times in that first half period…but I’ve seen enough in the two games to be confident and optimistic and looking forward to the next camp.”
The Black Stars will regroup again next month they face Mexico in an international friendly.
