Prophet Nicholas Osei, Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries also known as Prophet Kumchacha is warning government not to take taxes from churches because church monies belong to God and not the state.
Some people have been advocating for churches to pay taxes since most church leaders have become affluent and extravagant.
On Asempa FM’s Ka Ne Wo show Tuesday, Kumchacha asked the government not to touch the church’s money. He went on to say that the church’s money is God’s own and has its own purpose.
“That money is God’s money, and we know what it is used for….don’t take God’s money or the things that will happen to this government…” he threatened.
