Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, also known as Ajagurajah, has boldly taken up the challenge to surpass Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci‘s Guinness World Record for the longest duration of continuous cooking.
Hilda Baci recently made headlines by completing a remarkable cooking marathon, lasting 100 hours and 40 minutes in her quest to break the Guinness World Record for extended cooking sessions.
The leader of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, also known as the Ajagurajah Movement in Ghana, Bishop Ajagurajah in reaction to the news expressed his determination to break new ground, Ajagurajah announced his ambitious plan to embark on a one-week nonstop cooking marathon with cameras documenting his culinary endeavour.
“I heard a Nigerian lady broke a cooking record of 86 hours. This is even small. I am coming to cook for one-week nonstop. Mine is not even gas, I will be using firewood, for one week with cameras on me,” he said in a viral video on his Instagram page.
He further revealed that he had cooked for more than 86 hours on previous occasions, albeit without garnering widespread attention due to his doctrines on cooking during his church services.
“Easter conventions, I sometimes slaughter a cow alone. People don’t support people, if not so, there is one who can beat me in this record. Recently we held a full moon ceremony and I cooked for long hours. I have set this record so many times just that nobody filmed me. but this time around I will not leave anything to chance,” he indicated.
Bishop Ajagurajah’s declaration to challenge Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record in cooking for extended hours has generated significant interest and anticipation on social media as the clergy is known to take up viral challenges with other individuals.
It can be recalled that Ajagurajah also engaged in a fashion challenge with Fashion entrepreneur, Osebo the Zaraman a few weeks back which took the internet by storm.
