Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has revealed that he supports Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his method of operation.
In his view, the award-winning investigative journalist must be encouraged to do more because he is helping to expose rot and corruption in the country.
Anas’ method of operation has come under the spotlight following his recent yet-to-be-aired exposé titled “Number 12”.
The investigative piece, which implicates Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi, has been questioned by certain quarters who believe Anas uses enticement and entrapment to sway his victims.
Many have given their opinions on the subject and Sarkodie is the latest to add his voice to the ongoing debate.
The rapper believes Anas is doing a great job, insisting his efforts to expose corruption must be commended.
“Anas is exposing corruption which we all support. I think it’s very good,” Sarkodie said in a Facebook live video where he was interacting with his fans.
“You know, he puts people on their toes, it makes you not want to cut corners because you don’t know who is watching. So, I support it … For the bow I think is on the right path.”
Asked by one fan to comment on the ongoing feud between Anas and Kennedy Agyapong, Sarkodie said he would rather not be drawn on such a matter.
According to him, he respects both men and would not want to interfere because he doesn’t know what exactly is going on between them.
Anas’ latest exposé is centered on unraveling corruption in Ghana Football and is scheduled for June 6 at the Accra International Conference Center.
