Somewhere in the month of March 2018, rapper E.L in an interview with Giovanni Caleb posited that every attempt made to reach out to Sarkodie for a collaboration has not been successful.
In the voice of Elom Adablah commonly known as E.L in the interview in question, he can’t point to what’s wrong that’s preventing Sarkodie from returning his calls as well as text messages.
However, when probed by Giovanni Caleb if there’s an unseen bad blood between Sarkodie and himself, E.L stated categorically that there’s nothing like that or whatsoever per the dictate of his conscience.
Well, Sarkodie on yesterday, June 26, 2018, jumped on Jaden Smith’s version of ‘Icon’. A critical analysis of the lyrical content of the freestyle answered E.L’s plight.
An excerpt of the song reads; “mo fake suban nti, I no dey like calls picking” to wit, “because of your fake character, I don’t like answering your calls”.
Now, if this controversial verse employed by Sarkodie is anything to go by, then it’s obvious E.L needs to reexamine his character perhaps he’s fake as perceived by SarkCess Music CEO. As such, his refusal to answer calls from E.L. in the name of collaboration.
