Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, has opened up about her unsuccessful attempts to meet with President Akufo-Addo.
According to her, she has a lot to discuss with the first gentleman of the land, but on a number of occasions, she is unable to do so.
She told Sammy Forson on “Personality Profile” that she has a lot to discuss with the first gentleman of the land, but on a number of occasions, she is unable to do so.
She went on to say that some people working closely with the president make it difficult to get access to him.
“I am a Ghanaian. I love the NDC and NPP. I have been trying to meet the president and I guess the people around him are making it difficult. Yeah, I wanted to address him but I guess when the time is right I will meet him.
“I am not too happy but at the right time, I will address it. I mean the movie industry. Also tourism, government, stuff about Ghana that I need to address. Maybe now they don’t take us seriously but they would.
“We want to promote the tourism sector but the road networks are bad. I was on my way to Kakum National Park and I nearly returned so why would a tourist go through that. There are things that need to be addressed so when the time is right some of us will come up.
