Ghanaian prodigy, Samara Osae-Asare has turned heads with her impressive journalism skills when she had the opportunity to showcase her talent at the launch of the Onua Showtime on the premises of TV3.
The co-host of Kidz Arena on TV3 captivated the attention of veteran actress and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown, as she confidently interviewed guests at the launch, including Nana Ama McBrown herself.
McBrown who was impressed with Samra’s interviewing skills and confidence commended her parents for grooming her talent and working on her dedication to the craft.
“Is that your child [Speaking to Father of Samara], are you also her manager?” she quizzed
Her performance at the Onua Showtime launch also left many impressed and has no doubt earned her many fans.
“I am very impressed, you are blessed, I can see you taking over in 5 years. I am lost for words but go ahead and ask me the questions,” she said
Responding to Samara’s question on how her journey has been in the entertainment industry, McBrown revealed that it had not been a jolly ride afterall
“The journey has not been smooth, I mean you started not long ago right and you know that it’s a hard work, it’s not an easy job like you said it’s by the grace and favour that is why I amhere. I’ve gone through a lot and I’ve learnt every lesson,” she revealed
Samara’s passion for journalism started at a very young age, and she has been honing her skills ever since.
Her dedication to her craft has earned her opportunities to interview some of the world’s top personalities including Twitter founder, Jack Dorsey, Usher, Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper and she has proven that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing one’s dreams.
McBrown who spoke highly of Samara said her determination and passion for the craft will no doubt take her far, as she was a shining example of what young people can achieve when they set their minds to it.
