Highlife artist , Eugene Marfo who is popularly known as Kuami Eugene has taken to his twitter handle to warn the public of a fraudster who is using his name to scam people.
There are several fake accounts of celebrities created by some social media users mostly for fraudulent purposes .
Several celebrities have complained bitterly of such people using their names for their selfish interest.
The latest celebrity to fall victim is ‘Angela’ hit maker , Kuami Eugene.
According to the ‘Angela’ hit maker, the ‘fraudster’ calls claiming he is Kuami Eugene and later demand money for a video shoot.
He added that many people have fallen victim to such scams and he is therefore warning the public not to fall for such trickery since it’s not from him .
Kuami Eugene indicated that several calls concerning such act brought his mind to it .
He took to his twitter handle to warn his fans of such ‘419’ or fraud.
His post read : ” 0553076494 when this number calls you and ask for money to shoot a video claiming He’s Kuamieugene. Pls don’t send Him anything. He’s a thief. I’m getting too many calls about this same number collecting their money. #AreUMadd”
