Some of the Ghanaian celebrities have gotten nicknames from some fans and others for the fellow celebrities. Showbiz.com.gh has gathered four celebrities who are having nicknames.
The first celebrity is Shatta wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, he is a controversial dancehall musician who troubles his colleague’s a lot.
Shatta wale’s nickname is ‘’ GBEENABU’’ Gbeenabu is a nickname giving to him by Ghanaian musician, Yaa Pono. Yaa Pono claims Shatta wale has a big mouth that’s why he called him ‘’Gbeenabu’’ in his song.
Akwasi Boadi, a Kumawood comic actor known in movies as Akroboto is the second celebrity with nikie’’ his nickname is ‘’ WHO KNOWS TOMORROW’’ he got this name because of his big nose.
‘’OBENGFO NSA ANO’’ is Moesha Budunita Buduong’s nickname. She is a Ghanaian actress and model with a curvy shape. There is a speculation that she had a plastic surgery at Dr. Obengfo’s body reshape for her curvy shape.
The last but not the least is Princess Shyngle, she is a Gambian Ghanaian actress and model. Her nickname is ‘’ TAPOLI’’ meaning her slim waist resembles ‘’tapoli’’.
