The North East regional coordinator for NPP’s flagbearer aspirant, Alan Kyeremanten has been attacked and hospitalised.
According to reports, Ali Zakaria was attacked and beaten when he questioned some voters who publicly displayed their ballot paper to other delegates after voting.
Zakaria told the media that some unidentified delegates attacked him; leaving him with a swollen eye and bruises on his face.
According to him, he was outnumbered and caught off guard and found himself on the receiving end of the macho men’s aggression.
He was rushed to the Regional hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
