The sad incident happened on Friday, August 18.
The Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security announced this on his Facebook page over the weekend.
Gladys Awura Adwoa Warewaa Twum-Barima was 78.
The death comes just when the family is about to bury its son, Joseph Twum-Barima, this weekend.
Big Joe was the brother of Palgrave’s mother.
