After staging a stunt and getting the attention of his fans with their supposed break up story, Shatta Wale has called on the government to support Shatta Michy’s ‘Women Empowerment Movement.’
Speaking on EWITHBECKS, an entertainment programme Joy Prime (MultiTV) the dancehall sensation said his girlfriend’s foundation will help young people who feel left out in society.
He is confident the Women Empowerment Movement will infuse into young women the right motivation and drive to excel.
“The SM divas see her as one who can push the women agenda to a certain level. I also believe that government should support [her] because they are girls,” he stated.
He also dismissed claims that supporters of the Shatta Movement are violent.
He urged Ghanaians to be patient with his girlfriend, Diamond Appiah Gbagonah, popularly known in showbiz circles as Shatta Michy.
